Set on a 2,000 m² plot in Calvià, a residential area in the southwest of Mallorca, ALLEGRA takes its cue from the site's natural slope. The house is carefully integrated into the topography, opening its main living spaces towards the garden while making the most of its south-facing orientation to maximize natural light and privacy.
The Project
The commission originated from a German couple who purchased the plot as a real estate investment. The house was intended to meet the demands of the luxury residential market without resorting to overly generic solutions. The project pursues a balanced, functional, and well-proportioned architecture, capable of adapting to different ways of living while maintaining its own distinct identity.
The Layout
The L-shaped floor plan organizes the house while shielding its outdoor spaces from neighboring properties. This geometry allows the main living areas to maintain a direct connection with the garden and swimming pool. The layout itself creates a more private outdoor environment, turning the garden into a natural extension of the home's shared living spaces.
Spatial Organization
The house is arranged across three levels, each with a clearly defined function.
The ground floor brings together the shared living spaces around a double-height entrance hall that connects the living room, dining area, and open-plan kitchen. This level also includes a guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The upper floor accommodates the more private areas of the home, featuring a primary suite with a walk-in wardrobe, private terrace, and outdoor shower, along with four additional bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom.

Materials
Santanyí dry stone defines the home's exterior character, establishing a strong connection with the Mallorcan landscape. It is paired with wood-effect architectural louvers, which add warmth while creating a subtle contrast with the stone. Large-format flooring extends seamlessly from the interior to the terraces and swimming pool, reinforcing the sense of continuity between indoor and outdoor living.
On the upper floor, wood-finish flooring brings a warmer atmosphere to the bedrooms and the home's more private spaces, maintaining a simple, timeless palette of materials.
The House
ALLEGRA is a home whose layout and spatial organization are shaped by the site's natural conditions. The slope, orientation, and need for privacy define the architecture, resulting in a bright, functional residence with a strong connection to its outdoor spaces.
